Wow! The SU Swallowtail is soooo cool ! When I first saw it, I thought it was kind of scary but boy, has it grown on me;) For this card, I was inspired by Marion Vagg’s Card at the Muse Card Club #9. I embossed a white image of the Swallowtail over hues of blue similar to Marion’s card. I then added some black and yellow to the blues from the Colour Q Challenge # 181.
Card Recipe:
STAMPS: SU Swallowtail, Studio G sentiment
INK: SU White Craft with Clear emboss powder, SU Basic Black
PAPER: SU Daffodil Delight, SU Brilliant Blue, SU Brocade Blue, SU Black
ACCESSORIES: random black brads
Stunning Swallowtail, Cindy!! And way to combine MUSE with ColourQ!!
Thank you, so happy you are home to brighten my day! Your hummingbird is fabulous, lady;)
Wow! That is one big stamp! Looks amazing embossed on the royal blue
Thanks, Claire. That stamp is huge but stamps so easily and precisely. I first stamped it on the lighter blue and then the brilliant blue which I thought popped off the page. It is so white in person;)
Beautiful. I love the separations in the butterfly. 🙂
