What’s Up, Buttercup?

The cue word for CASology #38 this week is UP. I had a thought run through my head when I saw it- What’s Up, Buttercup? I always say this to my daughter. So I ran with the idea. I found this while surfing:

I wanted to create a buttercup with the dies I had so I ended up using a retired SU sizzlet Birds and Blooms and cut into the sides of the petals to look more like a buttercup petal. I sponged the edges with SU Daffodil Delight and textured it a bit to give it that waxy look too. The SU Summer Starfruit resin Dahlia made a cute little center that resembled the buttercup stamens and pistils. I used SU Gumball Green for the grass die cut from Die-namics and the hand drawn stem. I computer generated a sentiment and voila, here it is:

I used the sketch from Fab Friday # 15 to design the layout.
