I have fallen in love with the SU Crazy Mixed Up Love stamp set! It has such neat little ideas for Valentine’s Day or year-round sharing of some love. I played along with Pals Paper Arts # 185 Sketch Challenge to make this CAS Valentine.
I used the luxurious SU Crushed Curry Chevron Ribbon along with the Artisan Label Punch to come alongside the sweet little bee image.
Isn’t it funny how we find images of bees so adorable but fear them like crazy?
I used my Stampin’ Write markers to color my stamp image and punched out the little heart from the SU Owl Punch to add a pop of color to the bee wings. I also built up a black layer around the Artisan Label by simply punching out two and cutting each in half in opposite deirections. I then just adhered the four halves to each side of the Crushed Curry label. And, how could I not use the SU Honeycomb Embossing Folder?
While I have your attention…don’t forget about the Weekly Deals ending on Monday, Dec. 30.
Absolutely top-notch perfectly adorable (but feared) image to use to make this sketch come to life, Cindy! I’m sorry I haven’t stopped in with a comment in a while. It’s always a bit overwhelming to go through your posts that I’ve missed if it’s been awhile because each creation is so eye-popping!! I hope you and your family had a beautiful Christmas, and I wish you all the best in the new year!! Hugs, Darnell
Darnell, you are the sweetest! You are an inspiration to me and give me the courage to keep blogging with your lovely comments! Big Hugs to you!
Cindy, this card is SO clean an simple! I love that little bee, and how appropriate for you to have a bee with the name of your blog. I see little bees flying all around your header! 🙂 Thanks so much for joining us at Pals Paper Arts this week!
Oh, Peggy, thank you so much. I have considered incorporating those little bees on my blog. You have pushed me in that direction:) I so love your work as well!
I love your CAS style! This is adorable!
Thanks so much, Michelle. I think I am more of a CAS designer although I love all kinds of styles but always lean toward CAS;)
Adorable, Cindy! I love the hexagon folder with the bee. The heart is the perfect little accent!
Thank you, Ann. I love that hexagon EF- I think I use the back side of it more;)

Congrats on the PPA Pick for this week — a well-deserved award for this adorable card. I, too, think this little bee should be incorporated into CindyLeeBeeDesigns 🙂
