Sneak Peek of SAB 2014- SU See Ya Later

Oh, there are some cute stamp sets available during SALE-A-BRATION 2014 this year. I love the SU See Ya Later set- here is just one of the four images in the set. I masked off the last line of the sentiment so I could put it in the inside- “Miss You Already.” I have the card packed, and I am en route to Pittsburgh right now and I forgot to show you the inside- stop back later this week! It is a rather small sentiment anyway…heeheehee.   I knew the bold and cheery colors at Dynamic Duos #85 this week- Garden Green and Summer Starfruit- would be perfect for Mr. Alligator.

I also used two other SAB 2014 treats- the Distressed Dots EF and the Banner Blast stamp set. Are you getting excited to earn some free items with any $50 order?

Card Recipe:
STAMPS: SU See Ya Later, SU Banner Blast
INK: SU Garden Green, SU Summer Starfruit
PAPER: SU Garden Green, SU Summer Starfruit, SU Whisper White
ACCESSORIES: SU Garden Green Designer Button (retired- on Clearance Rack), SU Summer Starfruit Satin Stitched Ribbon
TOOLS: SU Distressed Dots, SU Banner Punch, SU Chalk Talk Framelits

I made the sentiment “tag” from two of the Chalk Talk Framelits-

Since the outer framelit is actually smaller than the inner one. Just cut one side and leave the other side out over the die. Then it can be any size you want it to be. You can see in the photo- I used Garden Green for demonstration but actually the border of the sentiment was Summer Starfruit;)

  1. Adorable! I have “saved” my SAB sets and haven’t played with them yet….but I”ll be casing this one when I do, for sure!

  2. LOVE the gator, and you’re right, this week’s colours were perfect for inking him up. He looks great mounted on those funky dots (kind of like lizard skin? What do I know, I’ve never petted an alligator…).
