I used Kim’s sketch at Freshly Made Sketches # 249 to create this card with a color combo of Very Vanilla, Cherry Cobbler, Soft Suede, and Garden Green with a touch of Gold Glimmer.
My card may be Clean and Simple but the stamp/thinlit bundle is not simple at all- it is fantastic! It will be on the market September 1, 2016 in the 2016-17 Holiday Catalog. The stamp set is called Christmas Pines, and it has awesome thinlits called Pretty Pines. It is such a cool stamp/thinlit combo that it takes up a whole page in the catalog and even made the front cover!
Take a look at the thinlits below that I have die cut and mounted on a 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ piece of cardstock . The pinecone on my card has great texture with fine cuts. Just think of combining different colored papers and layering those pinecones! Makes me happy just thinking about it:)
I think they can proudly stand alone, don’t you think?
They certainly are lovely die cuts but the stamps are great, too. You can stamp two different pine cone designs in two sizes and then die cut them as seen above.
Here are the stamps with great sentiments- and if they take up a whole page in the catalog, you know they are BIG and BOLD!
Thanks for buzzing by, friends…

Joanne from The Paper Players Challenge #307 has a theme for us this round-
“You light up my life” include a source of light on your project…sun, bulb, etc.
I just used my sunshine thinlit last week but was thinking of the sun so…
here is what I came up with for the challenge…
Here comes the sun….(doo doo doo doo)
I am so happy to have an umbrella bundle in this catalog- bridal showers, baby showers. Of course, rain is a pain in the behind but I just love umbrellas! Look how cute the stamp set and framelits are:
I used the sun from the SU Kinda Eclectic stamp set. I love how big it is and if you mask off half of it, you have a perfect sunset or sunrise!

I am playing along with the sketch at Freshly Made Sketches #248 created by one of my favorite designers, Linda Callahan.
I put the fox in for the shape and the DSP for the rectangle:)
I was inspired by a cute card by Sandra Mott where she cut the DSP into a row of foxes. If you attempt cutting the A Little Foxy DSP into rows of foxes remember they are not all the same size foxes. I am happy to say no foxes were harmed when I had to cut the DSP into 56 rows for my wonderful gals at classes this week!
This little fox is so cute! And that is not the only little critter you can make! Take a look at these cuties on Pinterest…https://www.pinterest.com/pin/108297566019480098/
Oh, I used the Duet Banner Punch and the Badges and Banners stamp set for the sentiment on both cards.

Laurie over at the Paper Players #306 has a Tic-Tac-Toe Challenge for us.
I chose enamel dots, patterned paper, and die cuts for my card.
Oh, I just love this SU Sunshine Sayings stamp set with the Sunshine Wishes Thinlits! And this card was approved by my daughter, too! You know she can be a bit picky…doesn’t like frills and stuff.
I played around with a few different sayings…
Here are a few more ideas to use with the SUNSHINE word:
The bundle has the Sunshine Sayings stamp set and the Sunshine Wishes Thinlits with the words SUNSHINE, LOVE, CONGRATS, and HOPE- both at a 10% discount.
The Designer Series Paper is from the retired Modern Medley DSP but any black and white pattern would pop with the black and red cardstock:)
8/6/16 Thank you, Claire, for A Cut Above this week at the Paper Players #306 Challenge:)
