I just love the SU Hang Your Stocking bundle! All those images and framelits- oh, what fun!
And, this card essentially used just the framelits!
For this card, I used the 4″ x 5 1/2″ Emerald Envy background that frames the brick fireplace to cut out my stockings- hey, it is going to be covered up anyway! Then I ran the 3 3/4″ x 5″ Real Red cardstock through the Brickwall embossing folder. I mounted them on my Whisper White card base and attached a 5 1/4″ x 3/4″ Chocolate Chip mantle stamped with the Hardwood background stamp.
Next, I die cut three white stockings and adhered them to the green stockings. Then I stamped three red inked stocking tops and die cut them as well. To finish off the stocking, I tied a linen thread bow in each jingle bell and attached it using glue dots. A really easy card!
I did a simple greeting inside the card. Ha, I did not even touch all the amazing stocking images yet in this stamp set that can be easily cut out with the thinlits. Can’t wait to do that!
I thought I would share this card with the team over at Stamp Ink Paper for their Card Maker’s Choice Challenge # 68.
