Taking a second look at a card…SU Hold on to Hope

This is a NEW post…read on…

So, I made this card, I liked it, and I posted it…remember?

And then…I kept looking at it and wondered what was off…do you ever do that?

Aha! I mistakenly thought the ribbon was black with silver in it
(late night stamping can do that)
…well, the Sale-a-bration Shimmer Ribbon is gray! So I revamped my card…

Isn’t it a totally different look?
I still like the black on the card, but prefer the Basic Gray card base!
What do you think?

Both are lovely, but you’re right, the gray gives it a beautiful subtle look. 🙂

Both are very nice cards, and each has it’s purpose. Seeing them together like this, I think the redo gets my vote. I like the softness the gray adds.
