Stampin’ Up Gather Together Buckle Card Video Tutorial

October 30, 2019

I have a fun take on the Buckle Technique using the Stampin’ Up Gather Together Bundle.

Don’t you just love the Copper with the Designer Series Paper on the card?
Remember my other Gather Together card where I distressed the Copper Foil?
Well, here is how I did it:

A simple distressing of the foil gives a WOW to the focal point on this card!

The “Wishing you well” sentiment is great to use as a cheer up or a get well card:)

I love the open leaves from the Detailed Bands Dies- a great accent to finish off the focal point.

Stampin’ Up Still Scenes Snow Globe Bundle

October 28, 2019

I am loving this card made with the Stampin’ Up Still Scenes Bundle and
the Wrapped in Plaid Designer Series Paper…

The gold accents in the paper, in the ribbon, and on the snow globe base make this card so elegant. I was going to add gold inside the church windows but opted for So Saffron since I knew I would get adhesive all over the foil windows!

I embossed the inside of the globe with the retired Gently Falling Embossing Folder. It is a great folder for creating snow. If you don’t have it, – it is on the Clearance Rack for $5 right now. I can not say enough how much I LOVE the Shaded Spruce Ribbon. It ties so nicely.

I used the Lakeside Dies to cut out the sentiment from the Itty Bitty Christmas Stamp Set.
The font matches the font in the Still Scenes Stamp Set. I added some of the plaid DSP to the inside of the card- sorry about the blurry photo:(

Stampin’ Up Come To Gather

October 25, 2019

Finally got out my Gather together Bundle this week!

Oh, this was so hard to photograph! My copper foil leaves are distressed on the veins with a sanding block. The dull silver left behind is a nice match with the wood pattern in the Come to Gather Designer Series Paper and the silver metallic pearls.  I added in some loops of Linen Thread to add some more texture around the pumpkins. I love how the sentiment can be used for a Get Well Wishes and not just a “hoping you are doing well” card.

and you are put into a drawing for a Stampin’ Up Goodie from me!

Now for my card and video today!!

Oh, I had fun making this card! Who is not excited when they see a gumball machine?

I used the Stampin’ Up Snow Globe Scenes Dies in an alternative way…to use all year long!

How did I make it? Take a look at my video…

Dang…I forgot to show you the how to make the top of the gumball machine!
Why did I do that?
Because AFTER I made the card and video, I saw that I needed a top on it!
Why didn’t I notice that before the video?!? I think it really adds to the card:)
Here is how I made it with the Timeless Tag punch cut on the bottom with the snow globe die.

I am sorry that my gumball machine is topless in this photo…scandalous.

Measurements:
Card Base: 4-1/8″ x 11 scored at 5-1/2″ Inside Whisper White: 3-7/8″ x 5-1/4″

3″ x 3″ Whisper White for inside of globe

Stampin’ Up Still Scenes Bundle

October 21, 2019

This is what I called my Stampin’ Up Still Scenes No Dome Globe card…

I wanted to show off the stamped globe with the reflections on it so I just went No dome globe! It looks wonderful without the globe. Popping up the globe and the house colored with Stampin’ Blends adds more dimension to the card. I used the Scripty Embossing Folder to create a subtle elegant background to complement the detailed scrolling on the base image of the Snow Globe.

The sentiment from the Merry Christmas to All Stamp Set (in the Annual Catalog) is perfect for the image on the card.
I stamped the big sentiment in the right lower corner in Shaded Spruce to finish off the inside. The sentiment was stamped and popped up on a 1/2″ wide strip of Whisper White cardstock and bordered with a 3/4″ wide strip of Crumb Cake cardstock.

Don’t miss checking in on Wednesday to see my new video
on a unique way to use the Snow Globe Shaker Domes!
