Stampin’ UP! Quite Curvy Bundle

October 30, 2020

The NEW Stampin’ UP! Quite Curvy Bundle will be coming out on November 3 and be will be available until January 4th. I played around with mine again… and fell more in love with it!

My craziness must say that where it looks like I did not punch the little circles out under the “th” in birthdays- the Just Jade green you see in the circles is the DSP showing through- just sayin’ so you know…lol. My main focal image with the white and the Flowers of the Seasons Designer Series Paper and the inside is cut to 3-1/2″ x 4-3/4″. The Poppy Parade border is 3-5/8″ x 4-7/8″. I really liked the color combo in this paper:)

All occasion sentiments are in the Quite Curvy stamp set

and fun Curvy Dies coordinate with it.

Doesn’t the Medium Daisy Punch look cool with the daisy patterned paper in the Flowers for Every Season Designer Series Paper? The leaves are die cut with Curvy Dies. So many different patterns are in that pack of paper- even Christmas ones!

Here is the Curvy Christmas Stamp Set that also coordinates with the Curvy Dies!!! Two Sets that work with the Curvy Dies:)

Stampin’ UP! October 2020 Paper Pumpkin “Joy to the World”

October 26, 2020

The October 2020 Paper Pumpkin “Joy to the World” is just gorgeous! It is a lovely Christmas themed kit…but as I always say…the PP stamp sets are versatile and can still be used long after you have used the supplies in your box as suggested on the instructions. This month, I thought “outside the box” and made a bright and cheery card by masking out a few words and creating a whole new phrase for many occasions!

I simply masked off some words on the sentiment. Just tape over the words you don’t want to stamp, ink up the stamp, REMOVE the inked up tape, and stamp just the words you inked up! Before I stamped my new sentiment, I die cut the labels using the Stitched So Sweetly Dies so I knew they would fit! Yes, I learned that tip after I did it the other way, and it did not fit!

The Flowers for Every Season Designer Series Paper has the pretty striped pattern in it which went well with the simple sentiment and floral image in the stamp set. My color palette was Poppy Parade red, Magenta Madness pink, and Crushed Curry yellow. This card can be used for many occasions where you want to send some joy…birthday, wedding, congratulations!

So, what’s in store for the November 2020 Paper Pumpkin kit? The cute, gingerbread-themed kit contains enough supplies to create one-of-a-kind Christmas crafts! Whether it’s a gift card carrier, traditional card, or tasty-looking tag, this sweet and seasonal kit is the key to heartfelt holiday gifting. With curly cutouts, sugary stickers, and delicious die-cut designs in a special-edition box, a jolly holiday will be on its way with this kit!

Stampin’ UP! Forever Fern Bundle

October 23, 2020

I was itching to use my Gold Hoop on a card- why did it take me so long? They are so pretty! I added one to my card made with the Stampin’ UP! Forever Fern Bundle. The picture doesn’t do it justice. The subtle colors with gold accents of foil, Gilded Gems, and the hoop look so elegant.

I used the Many Medallions Dies to lay my Forever Fern pieces on. I love how the Petal Pink peeks through the Vanilla Medallion Die. I have been making Christmas cards and other bright, bold colored cards, and I really enjoyed using Crumb Cake, Petal Pink, and Very Vanilla on this card.

Stampin’ UP! Hippo Happiness Bundle Center Easel Video Tutorial

October 21, 2020

Oh, here’s an easy fun fold for you! Take a look at the Stampin’ UP! Hippo Happiness Bundle Center Easel Card I made last night!

The dies fit so well on this card! And look at that little unicorn horn. But let’s all remember that he can also be a horse…heeheehee.

Some tips for stamping the unicorn are below:

I first stamped the image without the face and tail using full strength Coastal Cabana ink. Then I stamped off one time before adding the larger image of the unicorn with the face and tail. I found it easiest to line up the ears and the rump of the unicorn. Notice how the hooves are lighter, so don’t try to line up the bottom of the hooves- at first, I was doing that and thought I had not lined it up correctly. Once you have the two images of the unicorn stamped, line up the nostrils in the two areas indicated on the photo. Once again, after a few times, I figured that out, too!!! Then just die cut the unicorn and snip out a horn for the magical creature:)

Measurements:

Card Base: 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ scored at 4-1/4″ on the 8-1/2″ side. Cut into right and left sides 1-1/4″ on the middle score line and down the front of the card as shown in the video. Score the middle section at 2-1/8″ as shown in the video. DSP on sides: 1″ x 4″, top middle portion 2-3/4″ x 1-7/8″
