Stampin’ UP! All for Baby with Days to Remember

July 9, 2021

Babies are popping up everywhere…I am so happy for my dear friend Jan who has become a Grandma a few months after me! We were neighbors for over 8 years, and our daughters were college roommates and besties to this day. Carly had a little girl last month! What day, you ask? You tell me…

You got it..June 13! Isn’t it cool how you can customize a special event with the Stampin’ UP! Days to Rmember Stamp Set? And, I remembered to mask off the 31 this time!!! Here is a video I made showing how to use the Days to Remember Stamp Set:

I love the colors in the Stampin’ UP! Pattern Party DSP available as a host gift in the back of the Annual Catalog. I pulled out Flirty Flamingo, Balmy Blue, Bumblebee, and Granny Apple Green. The teddy bear on the inside just had to be green to round out all the colors:)

Stampin’ UP! Counting Sheep Sneak Peek

July 9, 2021

I have never made a slimline card before! And if there is an animal in a stamp set, you know everyone will be having them climbing on top of each other so…why not these cute sheep from the upcoming Stampin’ UP! stamp set Counting Sheep? It will be a Sale-a-bration Gift with purchase starting August 3. There are also Sheep Dies available during Sale-a-bration, too!

I used the cloud sponging technique on this 4″ x 8-1/2″ card that fits in a #10 envelope with a standard stamp. I used a die from the recently retired Happy Dies from the So Much Happy Bundle like I did on this card. You could also use the cloud die in the Stampin’ UP! Basic Borders Dies. See the sample below. The puffs are different and look great, too! I love the big sentiment from the new Stampin’ UP! Biggest Wish.

I used my Dark Poppy Parade and Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blends to color in the balloons and party hats. Easy Peasy. I decided to color my sheep with a light black face because that one down by the fence looked like he had a human face when I colored it with pink…lol! Oh, and I used the grass die in the retired Special Days Dies.

Stampin’ UP! Seascape Bundle with Layering Diorama Dies Video Tutorial

July 7, 2021

I am so excited to show you this fun colorful card today using the Stampin’ UP! Seascape Bundle and the Stampin’ UP! Layering Diorama Dies.

The Layering Diorama Dies are so cool to work with…check out this video:

I made this one with an embossed panel on the top using the new Bark Embossing Folder. I like the texture it adds to the card. I just adhered it flat to the front.

One the one below, I stamped some seaweed and raised the top panel with Stampin’ Dimensionals. It’s hard to see in the photo but it really adds depth.

I especially love the largest of the Layering Diorama Dies that I used for the inside of the card. I can see using it a lot to jazz up the inside of cards!

Measurements: Card Base: 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2: scored at 4-1/4″on the 8-1/2″ side, Basic White inside: 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″ for die cut, Granny Apple Green against the card base: 3-3/4″ x 5″ for die cut, Pool Party front embossed panel: 4″ x 5-1/4″, Scraps for seahorse, fish, coral, and sentiment ovals

Stampin’ UP! All Things Fabulous

July 2, 2021

Here’s the Stampin’ UP! All Things Fabulous Bundle that I never got to ink up from the last Annual Catalog…I was happy when it carried over! Isn’t it just lovely?

It’s a three step stamp set with coordinating Fabulous Floral Dies to cut out the all the flowers and leaves. It has a great trellis die that I put on top of the Tasteful Textiles embossed panel and under the blooms and leaves. My blooms have a more vintage look because I stamped off twice for the biggest flower and once for the middle flower using Flirty Flamingo ink but the images are actually solid as you can see with the smallest flower I stamped with Real Red and the leaves.

It has really great sentiments…

“I’m here for you” for sympathy or get well,

“Wishing you all things fabulous”
for a birthday,

and “You make the flowers smell sweeter and the sun shine brighter”

for some encouraging words along with “Nobody gets me like you do”
