It is a wonder these birds have not flown out of my craft room waiting to be used! Boy, am I glad I did- they are so pretty! Honestly, I had put them off thinking about how to color them. However, I think I did it justice with my Stampin’ Blends.

You can also just ink up a stamp to put color on the birds.

I used a sentiment from the Stampin’ UP! Friends are like Seashells stamp set cut out with one of the Sending Dies. The bird cage was in the Pretty Birds stamp set.

On this card, the birds pop off the black and white patterns. Not to say that when I visit The Aviary in Pittsburgh, the birds don’t pop against all the beautiful flowers there! Just think if I had colored in the Stampin’ UP! Perfectly Penciled Designer Series Paper? That would have been so pretty! Another day….so many fun things to try…I love having a hobby that I am never bored with and always have something to occupy my time. To be sure, some days a guy can play a round of golf in the time I make one card just trying out different colors and techniques!
