Stampin’ Up recently gifted some retired products to their demonstrators, and I must say I am very grateful since I missed this the first time around…their Simply Scrappin’ Kits. I opened the Bandstand one and found some neat stuff! I needed to make a set of thank you cards for the Friday Mashup #144 where Lisa asked us to:
Create a project with “Stars.”
Create a set of “Thank you Cards with Matching Envelopes”.
Or Mash it Up and create a set of “Thank you Cards & Envelopes using Stars.”
I did accomplish the ‘mashing’ by adding a color coordinating embellishment to each envelope with star confetti to fall out when it is opened…
ok, maybe that was a wee bit of cheating…heeheehee.
Love these! How did you get the colored layers on the ovals? Thanks!
Amy, all the pieces are pre-cut and have adhesive backs! So it is so easy. If you find them on ebay…they are really cute kits with 12 x 12 paper, DSP, and the sticky backed “die” cuts. I did not realize how versatile they were, all you have to do is stamp! Thanks for stopping by!
LOVE these. What a great way to use up some DSP!!!
Oh, Kristie, I could be using up DSP until I am 90! How do we accumulate so much? And I usually don’t use DSP that often! Thanks for stopping by:)
These are so much fun! Love the choice of DSP.
