I finally played around with the adorable little owls in the Stampin’ Up! Have a Hoot Bundle. A little color therapy was in order with the little birds:)
I stamped each image and die cut them. I sponged Balmy Blue ink around each image and colored them with Stampin’ Blends. I then cut each image so it was a little bigger than the opening. I adhered each one inside the opening from the back. I then stamped the images again, die cut the owls, colored the owls , and popped them up with Stampin’ Dimensionals. My little blue star /snowflake images on the inside come from the Stampin’ Up! Peaceful Nativity stamp set.
A wonderful bonus of the Stampin’ Up! Have a Hoot Bundle is the Peek a Hoot Dies that cut out three tags with ribbon/twine holes when you die cut the openings! That is a cool treat to have with the dies- they work double duty!
