Stampin’ UP! Friends are like Seashells Bundle for PP#521

December 18, 2020

Claire had a wonderful challenge at The Paper Players #521 this round.

*OMG! I just saw when I was uploading my card that the amazing Design Team Member Ann Schach did a card with this set for the samples! Honestly, I did not see it before I made mine!! Oh gosh…isn’t hers just stunning?!? It shows the versatility of the Stampin’ UP! Sand and Sea Suite.

I was itching to use the NEW Seashells Embossing Folder from the Stampin’ UP! Sand and Sea Suite that includes the Friends are Like Seashells Bundle coming out January 5th in the Jan-June 2021 Mini Catalog. This is super simple, kids. Die cut the shells with seaweed, tuck it in the embossing folder and run through your Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine! Done lickety split until I played around with the sentiment- first I did a white tag with black embossing, then a black tag with white embossing, but finally settled on black with silver embossing! I used the Stampin’ UP! Label Me Pretty Punch since it was shaped kinda seashell-y.

This is going to be a fantastic suite to play with- the Designer Series Paper is so, so pretty!!! The large die seen here can be stamped on and cut apart or just embossed and cut apart- so versatile along with other little sea and sand images to die cut. See Ann’s sample to see that in action!

Thanks for stopping by, friends…

  1. Yours is just as fabulous as Ann’s, Cindy! Such a beautiful bundle and it looks fabulous done in these colors! Thanks for playing with our last challenge of 2020 at the Players!

  2. I saw your black and silver seashell card online for the first time today, 08/15/2021. Is the shell embossing plate still available for purchase? I have been fascinated with seashells since I was a child. I have decorated both my family room and my bedroom using shells. I would very much like to purchase one even if it is used. For several years of retirement I taught classes in card making at three local craft stores in the St. Louis area. Please and thank you.
