Happy Friday, Peeps!
I pulled out my Stampin’ UP! Watercolor Pencils and my Blender Pens to do some coloring…

The fine lined flower images in the Stampin’ UP! Flowers of Friendship stamp set can be colored with Stampiin’ Blends but this time, I colored them with watercolor pencils and pulled the color around with a Blender Pen. I drew some scattered dots to fill in some white space.

The white panel I stamped the flowers on is 2-1/2″ x 5-1/4″ bordered by a 2-3/4″ x 5-1/4″ piece of Basic Black cardstock. You should use Stazon Ink with Stampin’ UP! Blender Pens like you do when watercoloring with ink so the image doesn’t run because of the ingredients in the two products. Also, do NOT use Stazon with Alcohol based markers as they will definitely run. You can see another pattern in the Annual Catalog Host DSP Pattern Party.

Thanks for buzzing by, friends…

I like using the pencils and blender pens. I like the look a bit better than the Stampin blends. I guess I still haven’t quite gotten used to the blends. Pretty card.
