Stampin’ UP! Give it a Whirl Dies with Sweet as a Peach Bundle

November 1, 2021

I love the Stampin’ UP! Sweet as a Peach Bundle even more now that I know it works so wonderfully in the Stampin’ UP! Give it a Whirl Dies!

I used the stitched circle die in the Give it a Whirl Dies for my opening on this card. I made a template like I did with this Stampin’ UP! Stellar Birthday card. You can see it HERE. I also used the back side of the scalloped circle mechanism to stamp the sentiments to avoid the impression made with the scallop circle. Make sure you use a clean plate without etching on it so the “back” of the circle is unmarred:) It is so fun to whirl the sentiments around!

Did you take a close look at the You’re as Sweet as a Peach Designer Series Paper? Not only did the Tasteful Textiles 3D Embossing Folder make the slight indentation the rectangle die makes disappear but also added some fun texture!

I used Pale Papaya ink on my peaches with some Calypso Coral lightly sponged on it. I think I may make another card with the big, juicy peaches on it. Both images are so pretty! The white Round and Square Brad blended right in with the polka dots:)

Thanks for buzzing by, friends…

  1. Good Morning Cindy!
Fun interactive card and the embossed texture on the DSP really elevates the overall look of this Pretty As A Peach card. The elegant Christmas card from your Oct 27th blog post with the opposite triangle layout is an eye catcher…great tips in the video tutorial! Is Evening Evergreen like the Hunter Green SU had some years ago? I loved that color, with its rich deep hue…and still have a pack. TFS.
    Hugs, Sweet T

    1. Hi Sweet T! You know, the Evening Evergreen is similar to Hunter but I would say it is darker. I do love it. Thank you so much for the encouraging comments- always puts a smile on my face:)))
