Stampin’ UP! Vintage Tools with Split Card Texture and Deckled Rectangle Dies Video Tutorial

May 25, 2022

I do love masculine cards and always wish there were more sets in the Stampin’ UP! catalog!! So, I made quick use of the Stampin’ UP! Vintage Tools and made a fun fold:)

It’s masculine and neutral so it’s a diagonal Tic Tac Toe 162.

Here’s a video to see how I made it…

I used the NEW Deckled Rectangles Dies for the front and the inside of the flipping part. It is nice to have another set of fun Rectangles Dies!

You can see how the Split Card Texture Dies cut into the card stock.

I used EVERY stamp in the set!!! (applause)

I used the Rustic Metallic Dots on one and the Classic Matte Dots on the other…

Measurements: Card Base: 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ scored at 4-1/4″ on the 8-1/2″ side, Split card die piece: 4″ x 5-1/4″, Black Flipping part: 2-7/8″ x 3-1/4″ with black band 3-3/4″ x 1-1/2″ scored in 1/2″ on 3-3/4″ side with sentiment 1″ x 2-1/2″ (bigger if using the die), Basic White inside: 4″ x 5-1/4″, Basic White stamped tool on flipping mechanism: 2-5/8″ x 3″ (bigger if using die)

Thanks for buzzing by, friends…

  1. Cindy,
Three cheers for using every stamp in the set! That is awesome!!! One could also die cut the Split Card Texture Dies into a sheet of acetate and use them as stencils – hence, an additional way to use those neat dies. A great masculine card, with layered texture and a fun-fold as well – a winner all around.

  2. What a fun card, Cindy! My dad was a tool-lover, this would have been perfect for him! Love the fun fold and the sentiments are perfect for that certain masculine someone in your life! Thanks for sharing this with us at Tic Tac Toe this week!
