Stampin’ UP! Lighting the Way Bundle

I got to catch fireflies last weekend when I was in Pennsylvania. My daughter and grandson were with me staying at my girlfriend’s home. As we sat on the porch watching her little granddaughters running in the yard, my daughter looked at me and said, “I never realized we don’t have lightning bugs in Florida.” I said, that’s right, I didn’t know how much I missed seeing them. So, I definitely think of these amazing bugs God created when I think of summertime!

This awesome set, Stampin’ UP! Lighting the Way, has fireflies that are just die cut with an embossed pattern on them. I was going to use them but when I die cut the inside lighting of the lantern, I decided to go ahead and stamp them in white and color in their little behinds. Then I pulled the Crushed Curry to the border to balance out the card. Of course, I used Starry Sky cardstock with Starry Sky ink foliage stamped on it- I mean it is night time:)
