Stampin’ UP! Traditional Labels with Elegant Pine Snowflakes DSP Star Fun Fold

I had so much fun making this card- probaly because I was talking with my friend Cheryl who was telling me how to make it before I saw a picture of it! Then I hopped on the computer and saw a few videos from other demos and actually finished it!

It really is easy to make once you do all the scoring!!!

I made it with a focal point on the front…both using the Stampin’ UP! Traditional Labels Dies.

I do wish I had used a piece of coordinating color card stock from the inside of the star to do the plaid embossed panel and pocket. So on the top one, I would have used Pretty Peacock and the on the bottom one I would have used Garden Green card stock. We are making this in class next week, and I did coordinate all the colors on each card after I did all the scoring on the 540 4″ squares of DSP! I did cut two sheets at a time into the 4″ x 12″ and then scored each piece individually. Then I cut two of the scored 4″ x 12″ into 4″ squares. I always score all at once then cut into the squares.

To make 6 cards, use two matching pieces of DSP- cut and score one full sheet into the 4″ squares scored at 1/2″, 1-1/2, 2-1/2, and 3-1/2″. Then on the second sheet of DSP, cut one more piece of 4″ x 12″ with the 1/2″ scores like the first sheet. Then score the other two 4″ x 12″ at 1″, 2″ and 3″ and cut into 4″ squares so you have six of them!

Measurements: Card Base: 4″ x 5-1/2″, Plaid embossed panel on front: 3-1/4″ x 3-3/4″ and pocket on back: 2″ x 3-1/4″, (2) 4″ squares scored at 1/2″, 1-1/2″, 2-1/2″ and 3-1/2″, (2) 4″ squares scored at 1″, 2″ and 3″
