When I saw LeAnne’s sketch for The Paper Players # 156 I said to myself, “Thanks, LeAnne, that’s a CAS one to play with this week.” Then, a few days later, my mind was blank so I dug into my NBUS (as my friend, Darnell Knauss, has deemed- NEVER BEEN USED SCHTUFF) *Note to Darnell—Trademark that !!!
Hey, If Rachel Ray can get EVOO- Just sayin’.
I decided to go outside the box and use images to create the sketch without layers. This is what came of that escapade:
I used a Hampton Arts stamp set (discarded the packaging so the name is unknown to me) I do know it was a $3 clearance item which I always remember and cannot resist. It is pretty neat with a bunch of artist tools in it. I did use those adorable CANDY DOTS from the new annual Stampin’ Up catalog. I MUST get more of those- I can tell I will be going crazy with them! The SU colors of Pacific Point, Real Red, and Daffodil Delight are so delicious in person !
Talk about creativity! I am drooling over this interpretation of the sketch, Cindy! LOVE!! A winner for sure! It is pinned CASliciousness! Thank you so much for the shout-out and for joining in the NBUS movement! It feels so good to use that schtuff, doesn’t it?! And your commenter info change worked, BTW, no more entering all that info. Applause! Mwah! Darnell
Darnell, thanks so much! It does feel good to use schtuff that has been lying around…I always say- stamps aren’t perishable to justify my purchases! And Yippee- the commenting is easier- thanks for the heads up;)
Simply fabulous!
Thanks so much, Linda for stopping by to leave a sweet comment- it means a lot to me;)
Oh my gosh, how STINKIN’ cute is this?! I love it! I am with you on those candy dots…they are addictive! Thanks for playing with my Paper Players sketch this week!
So happy you liked it, oh great designer of sketches! It was a bit of a release to just do it!
