I bet you have seen a few “Pull Tab Flip Cards” floating around…
ones with cows, chickens, butterflies…and now I made one with a snowman!
Here is my video…hope it helps you make one!!!
I have a White Pull Tab on the card above but a Coastal Cabana one on the card below:)
The Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon is perfect for the pull tab since it is so light in texture.
Card Base: 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ scored at 4-1/4″ on the 8-1/2″ side
Real Red panel: 3-3/4″ x 5″
DSP and White panel underneath: 3-1/2″ x 4-3/4″
Pull Tab: 2″ x 6″ scored at 2″ and 2-1/2″ on 6″ side, punched with Scallop Tag Topper on the end of the larger section
White inside: 4″ x 5-1/4″
Real Red Stitched Squares: the 2 largest ones- 2-5/8″ and 2-1/8″
Sparkle Glimmer Square: the 2nd largest one- 2-1/8″
Whisper White Square: the second smallest 1-5/8″
I stepped up this card with a little circle spotlighting a certain part.
Simple but gives a card a different look.
I colored the gorgeous image in the God’s Peace stamp set with my Stampin’ Blends Combo packs- Cherry Cobbler, Daffodil Delight, and Shaded Spruce. Oh, the stunning Wrapped in Plaid DSP with the gold accents is just wonderful to dress up a card!
You can see the popped up circle in this view but see how in the first photo the circle is “spot on” although this view looks like it if off but I wanted you to see the elevation of the circle:)
It’s Fall…and I am blessed to get to enjoy the crisp mornings/evenings and sunny afternoons (and drizzly days, too) of Pennsylvania this week. In the spirit of fall, here is a sweet autumn card I made using the Stampin’ Up Tidings All Around Bundle and the Country Home Stamp Set.
Of course, the retired Hardwood Background Stamp is a constant designing companion in my stamping room especially in the fall. I bet the Birch Background would look fabulous, too. However, when I opened my Crumb Cake drawer, a panel was already stamped in there so it was the choice! Thanks, Satomi Wellard from Japan, for the inspiration for this card:)
Need a quick Christmas card that does not lack in details? Well, here you go…
The Shaded Spruce/Gold 3/8″ Ribbon and Metallic Pearls add the glitz to make this easy card one you would be proud to give! The design layout is pretty straightforward- so many cards on Pinterest are using the fabulous Stitched Nested Label Dies to showcase the classic tree punched out with the Stampin’ Up Pine Tree Punch. The Wrapped in Plaid Designer Series Paper is the BOMB! The gorgeous color of Shaded Spruce paired with Cherry Cobbler, Night of Navy and White with accents of gold in patterns of plaid- the ribbon and pearls match all the patterns!
Look how beautiful the plaid tree stamped in Shaded Spruce ink on the inside!
And…it is in photopolymer:)
I am on a nature kick lately…
playing with neutrals and some of the beautiful animal images Stampin’ Up offers us.
I was inspired by Australian Demo Kylie Bertucci. Here is her card:
I stamped the Crumb Cake front panel with the Stampin’ Up Rooted in Nature stamp set. The log and the leaves were stamped in Soft Suede and the little branches of leaves were stamped with Early Espresso to coordinate with the card base and sentiment. I was going to put a layer around my focal image of the animals but then thought…dang, I can use my Stitched Rectangle Dies to cut out an opening and get to see the outside decorative stitching left on the panel and then inlay the deer image with dimensionals leaving a dark border around it made from the existing card base! Now, I have another stamped die cut rectangle to make something with…you know I will…sooner or later…let’s hope it is sooner;)
