I do love clean lines and geometric patterns but it took me a while to come up with something. Make sure you check out what the Design Team came up with this week- inspiring!  I looked for a sketch challenge to help me out and found Retrosketches # 102 .

  1. Hi Cindy, The card is a good show of the kraft and red plus a little blue. I’ve always loved this combination of colors and like the balance of your card. Hard to say what someone else will “like”. I think it is a good masculine card for someone other than your husband!

  2. Oh my gosh, I’m sorry, but that really made me laugh, Cindy! And I (emphasized) like it! Judging from the comments, I’m not the only one. I love aqua, red, and kraft together and I love your design. This is a challenging challenge! (And stop asking your Mister what he thinks, lol!) Have a wonderful weekend! Hugs, Darnell

  3. Just a reminder that art is subjective & it’s OK we don’t all like the same thing. I love the color combo & think you did a great job using both triangles & hexagons. What a fun challenge–may check it out if there’s still time.

  4. I think we should put your hubby and my hubby in the same corner LOL My hubby is very frank with his opinions also and needless to say I don’t always agree with his assessments 😉

In this case I think your hubby is off base. The sketch was a tough one and you did a great job with it! The triangles of the DSP and the hexagons of the embossing folder are both able to shine because they each have their space to shine, and it works wonderfully!

Sorry Mr.Bee, you’re out voted on this one 🙂
