Here is the Father’s Day card I made for my hubby yesterday…
although he mostly enjoys wine not whiskey…lol.
I used the In Good Taste Designer Series Paper. Each sheet has photographic images of wood, tile, stone, and other textural cloth elements. I LOVE the top portion on this card- isn’t is just awesome? I colored my whiskey with a So Saffron Stampin’ Write Marker then colored over it with Light Soft Suede Blend to get a good whiskey color. My ice cubes are just colored with the So Saffron Stampin’ Write Marker.
I added a little bling with some Gilded Gems that really look nice in person.
I love the sentiments in the set. All of them are so cool!
Now…I have to get to work to make him a birthday card…it’s only three days away!!!
Ohhh, the Stampin’ Up! World of Good Suite with the Beautiful World Bundle and
World of Good Designer Series Paper

There are BRASS FOIL metallic accents in the world of Good Designer Series Paper! I called it EVERYTHING but BRASS!!!
Well, at least I didn’t say silver…
Watch a little more about the World of Good Suite in the video by Stampin’ Up…
Ahem…it is BRASS not copper, not bronze but BRASS Foil Accents!
In case I didn’t tell you…there are BRASS Foil accents in the DSP!!!

Yeah, I kinda like the Stampin’ Up! By the Dock Bundle…this time it became an easel card.
I used Seaside Spray for my blue on this card and a bright green Granny Apple Green. I think it really worked with the Night of Navy Frame and the So Saffron sun. Believe me when I tell you I sometimes try a lot of different colors to see which ends up to my liking. Frequently, I change it days later. I first had a Daffodil Delight sun but liked So Saffron better…no rhyme or reason…just liked it better. Do you ever do that?
Well, anyhoo, here’s a video showing how easy it is to make an easel card and some little tips using the Stitched Shapes and Rectangle Dies. Please forgive the shadows at the end of the video when my light went out…thankfully, the bulb was just loose in the socket. I should have just reached up to check it! But then it would have been hot… and I might have burnt myself…and my hands would have been compromised…and maybe I could not stamp for awhile…and we would not want that to happen!
So, what about the boat? Are you Team Crumb Cake or Team Real Red?

You know they are one of my favorite items:)
I made a CAS card using the Stampin’ Up! Special Someone stamp set and the Special Days Dies.
At first look you may think it is a birthday card…
But it’s a Get Well card cause the balloons are filled with HEAL-IUM !
Isn’t that just the cutest sentiment?
This set is just so sweet…
I love the little critters and how easy it is to use the two step stamping to color in the animals, balloons, and flowers. This set can cover a birthday, a thank you as well as Get Well wishes.
When I saw this photo in the Stampin’ Up! Mini Catalog with those scissors, I thought…
awe, why aren’t there any dies?!?!
Well, little did we know that the Sale-a-bration Coordination Release would bring us…
the Stampin’ Up! Special Days Dies!!!
See the multiple dies to cut more at one time and that neat word bubble?
