Talk about a real challenge this week…I thought about The Friday Mashup # 111 – using a pencil- for quite a while! I finally settled on using a “stencil” i.e. the SU Simply Scored. Used mostly for scoring designs, it can be used as a stencil as well;) So, I got out the lead and got to work creating the pencil borders under the image and along the bottom edge. I MASHED it up using the neutral Basic Gray and a pop of red.

INK: SU Real Red, SU Going Gray
PAPER: SU Real Red, SU Basic Gray, SU Whisper White
ACCESSORIES: SU Pearls, random gray and red grosgrain ribbon
TOOLS: SU Simply Scored, SU Labels Framelits, SU Large Scallop Die
Terrific way to incorporate the pencil, I would have never thought of that! Such a beautiful sympathy card, very elegant looking.
