I really tried to veer away from flowers for The Paper Players #158 since these colors just screamed posies to me…but in the end…the posies won! I inked up my flower with SU Crisp Cantaloupe and then used my sponge dauber to add SU Strawberry Slush before I stamped the image. I made one card with a some glitter pen on the flower, and it was downright ugly! So I stamped another and let well enough alone! Ever feel like simple is just better sometimes?

This is so pretty, love the ruffle 🙂
Thanks, Anita. That ruffle is so easy to work with but I am finding I am using it like a Hem on a card…
Cindy this card is gorgeous! Thanks for sharing it. 🙂
Thanks so much, Cathy! Simple…I just got that stamp and was itching to use it!
Cindy, the ribbon holder came yesterday!!! You did send it out quickly!! Thank you so much. It will be fun figuring out where it will fit the best. I’m all for organizing : )) Thanks, again! Lydia
Oh happy day, a present among all the unwanted mail, huh? So glad you got it! I have mine to get up and running- a great tool- will post when I get it up!
Oh, Cindy, what a fabulous idea to sponge on a second color to this gorgeous stamp. Your card is simple but elegant and I love it! Thanks so much for sharing your creation with us at The Paper Players!
Awe thanks, Sandy. These busy days are leading me to simple designs…I enjoy the inspiration from The Paper Players each week;)
