I seriously love paper! I like to look at it, touch it, and make things with it. I am sure a lot of you can understand my affection for PAPER. And this week’s CASology # 58 cue word is PAPER. I thought of writing letters on paper and found this cute little envelope rubber stamp in my NBUS- “Never Been Used Schtuff” box on my shelf. I thought about what would I write on paper to put in that cute little envie? Yes, I love you…but I I did not have a small stamp with that sentiment. So, I used letters and stuffed them in three little envelopes.
I took a tip from Ardyth and made my card base smaller- 5 inches- so I could have the main panel hang over the sides for a different look.
I played around and added a touch of black to the red heart. Which one do you like better?
Super sweet, cute and so fresh and clean take on this challenge!!
Thanks for joining in the fun and playing with us at CASology this week!!
Love the plain red heart best! Cute use of the envelope stamp.
Completely forgetting that I had done this layout before, I was about to say ‘what a clever layout’! (well it is clever isn’t it – it’s a fun way to make an unexpected card!) Love the clean feeling of the black and white with just the right pop of colour!
I like the one with the black heart in the middle! Fabulous card [as always]! Thanks for playing along at CASology this week Cindy!
