I loved Jen’s challenge at Freshly Made Sketches # 123 this week with the eight circles. I first saw Linda Callahan’s card and thought…Holy Schmokes- amazing- then, I checked out the rest of the DT cards, too- WOW!
I set out on my search for that something that would lend itself to being stamped eight times. In the end, I picked up my SU Bright Blossoms I had lying on my desk because I had thought of using it for my Friday Mashup challenge. I picked out the tulip-looking flower and decided I would use all of SU’s IN COLOR 2013-15 colors on my card. It is really simple but I like it…
STAMPS: SU Bright Blossoms, SU Esxpress Yourself Hostess Set
INK: SU Crisp Cantaloupe, SU Pistachio Pudding, SU Coastal Cabana, SU Strawberry Slush, SU Baked Brown Sugar
PAPER: SU Crisp Cantaloupe, SU Pistachio Pudding, SU Coastal Cabana, SU Strawberry Slush, SU Baked Brown Sugar, SU Whisper White
ACCESSORIES: Random Baker’s Twine that matched Baked Brown Sugar
TOOLS: SU 3/4″ Circle Punch, SU 7/8″ Scallop Punch, SU Dimensionals
Very sweet! I have never used this image and it is perfect here! Thanks for those kind words……means a lot coming from someone who makes such gorgeous cards!
I love the fresh springy colors you used…and I JUST used this set myself (had to dust it off) for my card for Tuesday….stay tuned!
Very pretty! I love these colors together, and the little scallops add such a lovely touch. Thank you for playing along with us at Freshly Made Sketches this week!
Perfect use of the in colors and the sketch! Glad to see you this week at FMS!
