Did you like the card I posted last week with the Birds and Blooms Thinlits and Serene Scenery DSP?
I had fun making it, and my hubby saw it in the kitchen and said, “I love this!” Oh, it feels so good when the family loves something you make! He commented how cool the paper was with the leaves on it. I said, “I know, isn’t it beautiful?”
I thought I would share some more…here is a Stampin’ Up video showing the Serene Scenery Designer Series Paper Stack:
I thought I would share two other cards I made with different patterns and layouts. These two cards incorporate the SU Layering Love stamp set and a different larger bird with the baby birdie from the Birds and Bloom Thinlits. These cards fit in with Stamp Ink Paper Challenge #63 .
The measurements of the DSP on both are 5 1/4″ x 3″ so you get two out of each 6″ x 6″ piece of DSP with some left over scraps:) Think how many cards you can make with 48 sheets of paper and this layout- I only used two of the patterns, and there are 4 sheets of each double sided patterned paper as seen in the video above by Stampin’ Up.
I think these cards have so much character but little time and effort…just some beautiful paper and some thinlits with a bold sentiment to finish it off.
And, oh, how lovely is that 1/4″ gold and natural trim ribbon? Just tie on a simple knot and glue on a few gold sequins to finish off the card!
Here is a look at the Layering Love stamp set:
