Have you noticed this stamp in the Annual Catalog? You may have passed over it with all the big, bold new stamps bundled with fancy framelits…but this set is a sleeper and a keeper!

It is called Mixed Borders…

Four great sentiments with a fun font and five neat “borders” with blank spaces to mix and match the sentiments and borders. Here are two cards I made with this set. I could have easily popped the sentiment right in the space but I jazzed it up with a tag with matching ribbon!

This one was done with Crumb Cake and Dapper Denim from the newer InColors 2016-18. The die cut posies are from the Bloomin’ Heart Thinlits.

Here is another one done with Sahara Sand and Mint Macaron. The leaves on the tag are found in the Paisleys and Posies stamp set.

The leaves matched so wonderfully with the border image, don’t you think?

Now, don’t you just love the Petal Burst embossing folder? It is also in the Annual Catalog. I was inspired to use it when I saw it paired with the Mixed Borders stamp set this card posted on Pinterest by stampsnlingers.com.
