SU Picture Perfect Birthday with Playful Backgrounds and a Bonus Gift!

April 4, 2018

I made some birthday cards using none other than the…
yes, Picture Perfect Birthday Suite!
This time, I added in the Playful Backgrounds stamp set!

Don’t forget to scroll through the post to see the BONUS GIFT:)

I simply die cut each 6″ x 6″ piece of  SU Picture Perfect Party DSP into four 2-13/16″ squares using one of the squares (a little larger than 2-3/4″) from the Layering Squares Framelits.
I cut out that same sized square from the  4″ x 5-1/4″ colored borders on the card fronts
since I knew that I would be covering the square hole with the stamped 3-3/4″ x 5″ Thick Whisper White panel. I love to do that!
Then, I could mix up the colors of the cardstock borders, the cardstock squares, and  the DSP squares so all the colors were represented on each card!

I used the Triple Banner Punch to make my tags from a 2″ x  3-1/4″ piece of Whisper White Cardstock.
Some leftover DSP scraps were added to each tag with a little bling of Mini Sequins
and a little Gold Glimmer banner on the pennant end of the tag.

I used the SU Playful Background stamp set to add a little something to the white panel.
Again, I mixed in whatever color ink was needed to pull out all of the DSP colors:)
