SU Dashing Deer

August 29, 2018

I have some Christmas Cheer, I mean Christmas Deer, for you today…
You know it’s time to start thinking of making up some cards, friends!

I used the New Shaded Spruce cardstock and ink- it’s a great New Christmas green.

Along with the Gold Foil, the Subtle and the Tufted Embossing Folders play a big role in making this card elegant.
The deer is an added die to the set that does not cut out any images but just stands on its own.
I also used a New die from the Merry Christmas Thinlits to die cut the sentiment from the Merry Christmas to All Stamp Set.
Both bundles will be available September 5, 2018!

SU Peaceful Poinsettia Video Tutorial

August 27, 2018

I have a video for you today showing how to use the Peaceful Poinsettia Bundle
available September 5, 2018!

It is a super versatile set with not only beautiful images but also great dies:)

I made this card with inspiration from the catalog sample made with Shaded Spruce.
I just wanted my poinsettia to be red!

I forgot to show you in the video how I added some pine springs using one of two matching dies in the bundle. I also added a Gold Faceted Gem- just perfect for the poinsettia!

I also made this card using the delicate feathery die cut of the poinsettia after I die cut it.

Materials:
Thick Whisper White: 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ scored at 4-1/4″ on the 8-1/2″ side
Garden Green: 4″ x 5-1/4″
Real Red: 3-3/4″ x 5″, 3″ square for the poinsettia with 3″ square of Adhesive Sheet

SU Varied Vases with Swirly Frames

August 24, 2018

I love a bundle that includes a punch! What about you?
So, when the Varied Vases Bundle came out, I was so excited. It is so cute!
There are so many images in the stamp set but I opted to use DSP to punch out my vases on this one!

So…isn’t that border an interesting touch? It comes from the Swirly Frames Stamp Set.
Look how cute the 9 bordering images are…for reference, I used the larger rectangle on this card.

I could not decide if I liked the vases sititng a little bit on the the wood or flush with the wood?
Which one do you like better?

SU Wishing You Well Sneak Peek

August 22, 2018

I just fell in love with the delicate little bow in the SU Wishing You Well stamp set.
Has that ever happened to you? You are drawn to the set for one little image?

Of course, then I fall in love with all the other images!

I adore the lightly drawn sentiments- that stamp beautifully!
I thought the set paired well the Nature’s Poem Designer Series Paper.
As you can see I pulled the colors from the DSP- Mint Macaron, Cajun Craze, and Grapefruit Grove.
Although you can find Grapefruit Grove pearls in the Share What You Love Artisan Pearls,
I just colored my pearls with the Light Calypso Coral Alcohol Based Stampin’ Blends.

The base of my tent card is 4-1/4″ x 8-1/2″ scored at 4-1/4″ on the 8-1/2″ side.
The DSP is a 4″ square. The white panel is 2-3/4″ x 4 bordered by a 3″ x 4-1/4″ Cajun Craze Panel.

SU Making Christmas Bright with Christmas Pines

August 20, 2018

Happy Monday, peeps!

I have a sneak peek of the
NEW Making Christmas Bright Photopolymer Bundle
with a video tutorial!

I stamped the big gorgeous pines from the Christmas Pines stamp set with Call Me Clover ink
on Call Me Clover cardstock to create a Christmas Tree background to hang my cute little Christmas lights.

I just love the stamp image that creates a “glow” around the bulbs or even a candle from other sets I have.
I was especially excited to see how neat it looked stamped around the corners on the inside sentiment:)
