Stampin’ Up Very Versailles

July 12, 2019

I totally fell in love with this stamp set when I first saw it…Stampin’ Up Very Versailles.

I just started layering the images and voila, it was done. I stamped the small script first in Soft Seafoam then stamped the leaves in Mint Macaron. Then it needed a bold pop of color so I used Soft Suede to stamp the top and bottom scrolls and the medallion. I tried Crumb Cake first but it was just ok, the darker Soft Suede ink and card base ended up being just right! A simple little Stitched Nested Label Die popped up with some twine and gold metallic pearls finished up the card. I stamped some Mint leaves inside on the inside with a Soft Seafoam “Thinking of You.”

Looking at the photo…I think my next card will have some distressed edges on it!

  1. Seafoam and mint macaroon look great together. I never would’ve thought of that. Great Card!

  2. Cindy…you have done it again! What a feast for the eyes. As the other ladies have pointed out, your color palette is spot on. The overall softness evokes a measure of serenity ~ makes me think of the wonderful palatial gardens in Europe. Whilst your well thought out placement of the stamped images draws one in, very pleasing to the eye. When I saw this stamp set I thought of ‘Downton Abbey’ . Hug, Sweet T
