Two cards…slightly different because of the sentiments..the first one comes from SU Going Global and the second one comes from SU Cottage Greetings.
I love how the SU Work of Art does all the coloring for me!

This IS an easy card to make. I do think having it in a written/pictorial form will help you make one of these if you have not tried one yet.
(Does this justify that I don’t have a video for it?)
Center Step Card Instructions:
*Note: the lines I drew are actually the cut lines.
1. Start with a 5-1/2″ x 8 1/2″ piece of card stock for the base.
2. Put the 5 -/2″ side at the top of your Stampin’ Trimmer.
3. Line up the right edge of the cardstock at the 1 1/4″ line at the top of the trimmer on the right side of the cutting groove. * LIFT the clear ruler blade guide and put the blade at the 1″ mark on the clear ruler blade guide. Put the blade back down and cut from 1″ to 5-1/4″ inches using the measurements on the clear ruler on the blade guide.
*I say LIFT so you do not cut the paper when you are moving the blade to the 1″ mark!!!!

4. Lift the blade guide after cutting your first cut and put the left edge of the card on the 1- 1/4″ line at the top of the trimmer on the left side of the cutting groove. Pick up the blade guide and put your blade again at the 1″ mark on the clear ruler, put down and cut again to the 5-1/4″ mark on the clear ruler.
You will see that you have matching cut lines on each side. LIFT the blade guide and tuck the blade down at the bottom of the trimmer to NEVER use again on this project. This ensures you will not accidentally cut when you do your scoring next!!!
5. Now, turn your card counter clockwise one turn so the 8-1/2″ side is up at the top of the trimmer and the 1″ starting cut line is to the far left of the clear ruler guide.
6. Pull the card base to the right so the left side of the card base is at the 1″ mark on the top of the trimmer. Using the SCORING blade, score down from the top of the paper to the 1-1/4″ cut mark, skip the middle cut section, and score again on the other 1-1/4″ side of the cut line (4-1/4 to end of paper).
7. Slide the card to the LEFT up to the 2″ mark on the top of the trimmer and score again like you did in step #6.
8. Slide the card again to the left up to the 4-1/4″ mark on the top of the trimmer and score ONLY the cut middle section- not the two ends like you did at the 1″ and 2″ marks in Steps #6 and #7.
9. Next, slide the card again to the left to the 5 1/4″ mark on the top of the trimmer and score JUST the two end 1-1/4″ sections leaving the middle UNSCORED (like steps #6 & #7).
10. You did it! Now, just fold the middle section so it forms a landscape card and then accordion fold the steps on the sides to create the landscape Center Step card.

11. The side diagonal striped Designer Series Paper Stack is 3/4″ x 2-3/4″ bordered by Basic Black cardstock cut to 1″ x 3″.
12. The white panel with the lighthouse is 2-1/2″ x 2 7/8″ bordered by Tip Top Taupe cut to 2-3/4″ x 3 -/8″. These crazy increments just fit the space for me. The height is the longer measurement on both. I used an 18″ piece of Baker’s Twine to triple wind it around the white panel and tie a knot.
13. The bottom base has a 1/2″ x 5-1/4″ piece of Tip Top Taupe cardstock bordered by a 3/4″ x 5 -1/4″ piece of black cardstock. I stamped the sentiment and cut it out using the narrow banner in the Gift Card Envelope and Trims Thinlits die set. It is approximately 1/2″.
