Stampin’ Up! Rise and Shine with Cup of Cheer Dies

Oh, I just love this fund fold! I think it is called a Cascade Fun Fold.

Not hard to do at all…just watch this video:

I made one card with the coffee drinker in mind.
(dang, why do I have a tea bag on the front, then? OMGosh!)

Now, close your eyes and imagine the cup without the tea bag (says Cindy laughing.)

But then, I am known to start with one and go to the other…
so maybe that’s what I was thinking?!?

I made another card with a tea bag inside a 3″ x 3″ envelope for the tea drinker.
Now, this is totally a tea card:)

Stampin’ Up! So Sentimental Bundle with Lasting Elegance Dies

I love gray and white together! I used the Lasting Elegance Dies along with the So Sentimental Bundle to create this simple elegant card. My intention was to make a wedding card for my stash but ended up with a friendship card:) I love that the Lasting Elegance Dies has that versatility.

I used a corner die on the inside which adds such a lovely touch.

The Last a Lifetime Stamp Set that is bundled with the Lasting Elegance Dies is just beautiful. Take a look:

But as you can see, the dies work well with any stamp set like I used on this card:)

Stampin’ Up! Positive Thoughts with Nature’s Thoughts Dies

I played around Saturday morning with the Stampin’ Up! Positive Thoughts Stamp Set along with the NEW Nature’s Thoughts Dies that came out with the February Sale-A-Bration Coordination Release. Do you see another new thing on this card?

The other item is the NEW Embossed So Very Vellum coming out on March 3 in the Second Release of Sale-a-Bration gifts! It is just beautiful! There are three colors featured in the 12 pack of 12″ x 12″ Specialty Designer Series Paper- Pool Party, Purple Posy, and Soft Seafoam. The So Very Vellum also looked great on the same color cardstock but I thought it really popped on the white card base. I tied a double bow with the Whisper White 1/4″ Crinkled seam Binding  Ribbon.

The Stampin’ Up! Positive Thoughts is such a beautiful stamp set and the Nature’s Thoughts Dies are perfect to die cut the images!

I had some time to play with the fabulous Timeless Tropical Bundle…so pretty!
I can’t wait to play some more!

Looks like a simple card until you open it up!

Stampin’ Up! Parisian Beauty Bundle

I had a fun day yesterday at my friend Ann Hillery’s home. She hosted a shoebox swap for demonstrators to share ideas. We each brought a finished card and kits for others to make the same card. We went from one table seat to another table seat working on the cards. Everything was die cut for us- we just stamp, color, assemble. It is always a great time, and the three soups made by Ann and Linda Briel along with salad and pumpkin bundlt cake and raspberry crumb bars for lunch were delicious!  My friend Patti Sharkey had this Parisian Beauty for us to make:

I love all the patterns in the Parisian Blossoms Specialty Designer Series Paper
but the script is especially striking in the champagne metallic against the Petal Pink background. Tip: Using a 3″ x 4″ piece of the luxurious paper not only makes a statement but also stretches your paper to get 12 pieces from a 12″ x 12″ piece.


The black Eiffel Tower really pops off the card. There is not a die for the flower so I did have to fussy cut the flowers but I did it with minimal whining…
