Stampin’ UP! Best Butterflies Bundle Diamond Flip Card

July 4, 2022

Happy Fourth of July everyone!

I have a fun summer card for you using the Diamond Flip Fun Fold Design.

You can see a video at the end of this post to see you to fold the card.

It opens up to show more pretty Stampin’ UP! Butterfly Kisses Designer Series Paper. The Butterly DSP on the front and inside is 2-7/8″ x 4″- the DSP on the inside 3-1/8″ x 4″. The DSP on the right is 2″ x 4″. The Basic White is 3-1/8″ x 4″. On the outside, I stamped the sentiment on a 1/2″ x 4″ piece of cardstock to accommodate the sentiment. When you use a 2-7/8″ DSP and a 3-1/8″ on the inside side or outside (or switch them) you can get one card out of one 6″ x 6″ piece of DSP since you will be using the leftover 2″ x 6″ for the inside right! The larger diamond border on the outside is a 3″ square and the smaller diamond inside it is 2-3/4″.

On the card below, I did the inside a bit different, I stamped a 3/4″ x 4″ strip of cardstock with the another sentiment saying “sending good vibes”. Again, the size accommodates the sentiment.

Measurements: Card Base: 4-1/4″ x 11″ scored at 2-1/8″ and 5-1/2″ on the 11″ side. Cut arrow point as seen in the video tutorial I made using the Brewed for You Bundle.

Stampin’ Up! Posted for You Punch Bundle

September 7, 2020

I pulled out my Stampin’ Up! Posted for You Punch Bundle to make a quick and easy card!

Layering is a quick way to make a simple card eye catching. And, that’s exactly what I did on this card – or I think I did:) I stamped the image from the Posted for You Stamp Set and punched it out with the coordinating Posted for You Punch. Then I layered it on a black scalloped rectangle from the Stitched So Sweetly Dies. I then layered that on a Pool Party Stitched Rectangle embossed with the NEW Greenery Embossing Folder Pack in the Annual Catalog. Another layered Stitched Rectangle in black and then again in White on a Pear Pizzazz card base!

Now, I am thinking of using it as an actual postage stamp on my next card…

Stampin’ Up! Butterfly Beauty Dies with Bubble Wrap Technique Video Tutorial

July 22, 2020

I have a fun technique to share with you that has been around for decades…
the Bubble Wrap Technique.

Here is a video showing how fun and easy this technique is…
to do the inside, I just masked off an oval and did the technique the same as the front.

It is so cool how each circle is consistently round with that crinkly appearance:)

Stampin’ Up! Game On

June 26. 2020

Well, here’s my hubby’s birthday card…

My card, or should I say his card,  got a few oohs and aahs at our family take-out pizza dinner, too! It’s nice when your kiddos comment on the cards you make:) It was super easy to fussy cut the cards, too.

The Happy Birthday sentiment comes from the Itty Bitty Birthday stamp set. I am on my lost pack of retired black rhinestones but the red ones are still available:)

Stampin’ Up! Pedal to the Metal Retiform Technique Video Tutorial

March 18, 2020

My friend Lisa needed a card for her son, Richard. He is celebrating the big 16!
He’s our official Bingo caller at my events- a really nice young man! I think he will like the card:)

I made this card using the Retiform Collage Technique. It reminds me of a cool project I did in art class when I was in school.
It’s fun, give it a try with one of your stamp sets. text me a pic if you do!

I liked just free form cutting around the sentiment on this one. What do you think?
