So so easy to make! Take a look at my video to see how to make it…

Stampin’ Up! By the Dock Bundle

May 1, 2020

I am loving the Stampin’ Up! By the Dock Bundle!
The Balmy Blue Nested Label really pops off the Neutrals Soft Suede and Crumb Cake.

The Birch Background Stamp made for a quick and easy backdrop for the die cut collage on the nested label. I just love the oars with the boat…and I had to add in that jumping frog!

I did trim my front Granny Apple Green grass a little to layer nicely:)

So excited By the Dock will be returning in the NEW Annual Catalog
but it will not be bundled at a 10% discount like it is now.

Stampin’ Up! Pedal to the Metal with Perennial Birthday

April 20, 2020

Granny Apple Green reminds me of my nephew’s Kawasaki dirt bike so I used this color scheme on a card using the Stampin’ Up! Pedal to the Metal stamp set.

Every time I cut a Stitched Rectangle, I literally can’t help but make a frame by layering another one around it or cutting out the middle of it if I am going to cover it up…and then…I end up with this pile of random Stitched Rectangle frames or whole Stitched Rectangles cut out of the middle of another one I used already on a card. Well, I ended up using two pieces from my stockpile on this card! The diagonal striped Stitched Rectangle came from my guitar card on Friday.

I really like the Stampin’ Up! Pedal to the Metal stamp set-
a dirt bike, a truck, and a four-wheeler are a good mix for guys and girls, too!

The big bold sentiment comes from the flowery Stampin’ Up! Perennial Birthday stamp set- another one of my favorites.

The diagonal striped DSP is from a retired Neutrals Paper Stack (12 x 12) that had diagonal stripes/little flowers and polka dots/script in the stack. Any black and white pattern would work to give a backdrop for the dirt bike. If you make one, send me a pic!

Stampin’ Up! Pedal to the Metal Retiform Technique Video Tutorial

March 18, 2020

My friend Lisa needed a card for her son, Richard. He is celebrating the big 16!
He’s our official Bingo caller at my events- a really nice young man! I think he will like the card:)

I made this card using the Retiform Collage Technique. It reminds me of a cool project I did in art class when I was in school.
It’s fun, give it a try with one of your stamp sets. text me a pic if you do!

I liked just free form cutting around the sentiment on this one. What do you think?
