How appropriate is it that today is my son’s birthday, and today is my project…

A Birthday Fiesta
In this tutorial, you will find six cards designed with the Birthday Fiesta Suite of stamps, framelits, Designer Series Paper, and Festive Embossing Folder- one of them is even a Christmas card! They are all tucked in a card box to give as a gift, too.
*This tutorial would be great for demonstrators to use for a Product Class since it includes two fun fold cards and a gift box using the Envelope Punch Board.
Comment on my project over at Craft Project Central TODAY, and you could win a month’s free tutorial! The last two months I designed, two lucky winners got the prize!
You can play along too with the Creating Pretty Cards Monthly Card Challenge over at Craft Project Central starting today, October 2 up until October 31.
For every ten cards submitted, we’ll pick one winner of a free month subscription here on Craft Project Central! The winner(s) will get to select the month of their choice! We really want to give away some free subscriptions, so please do join our challenge!!
We would love to see what you come up with this month!
Hello peeps…on the road heading back to my sweet stamping gals in Pittsburgh- so excited to see them! I am tagging off the hubby’s phone wifi while he drives so I could share a fun card with you all on the last leg of the trip!
I LOVE the new SU Birthday Fiesta Suite!!!!!!
Here is the card I was hugely inspired by from the uber talented Ann Schach.
I loved Ann’s layout and could not get it out of my mind so I changed it up by adding a Pumpkin Pie border around the DSP, embossing the white panel with the Festive TIEF and adding a Melon Mambo border, adding some cacti posies, and tucking in the banner I punched with the Triple Banner Punch. The layout lends itself to the Freshly Made Sketches # 243 so I am sharing it there:)
I can’t decide what I love more…
the embossing folder, the stamps, the framelits, or the Designer Series Paper!!!!
Take a look at the stamps…so many fun images- the banners are so fun! I love both sentiments that can be used with so many other stamp sets, too. And it is photopolymer- stamps just beautifully!
The framelits are so cool- again, the banners are super, and the little flower die cuts are great, too!
Oh gosh, and the Designer Series Paper is just too, too fun!
So bright and so easy to coordinate with the quality colored SU cardstock:)
