SU Celebrate Card

My stamps are packed, I am ready to go…roadtripping from Pittsburgh to Orlando starting this afternoon with my son. He wants to drive through the night but I don’t think he realizes how his mom’s eyes are not what they used to be! We will see how far we make it today… Sometimes, it is fun to see something that is not holiday themed around the holidays so I pulled out one of my favorite cards because of its neat shape, its black and red colors, and its use of the Daydream Medallion stamps and coordinating framelits.

I loved this Washi tape the moment I saw it discounted at a craft store somewhere. I would have even paid full price for this! As I unrolled it, I was surprised by a new pattern- it just made me happy. So, I thought it paired well with the “Celebrate” stamp from the SU Seasonal Sayings set. I used a Crumb Cake card base because it just seemed a great nuetral background to showcase the wide array of colors in the tape. The challenge at The Friday MashUp # 126 this week asked everyone to use Washi tape so…here it is:
