Stampin’ Up Let It Ride Stepped Up

January 18, 2019

WAIT…you have not seen this one…

I am sure you all have made a card and then came up with a way to step it up days or maybe even weeks later? Well, this time it was a week later.
I used Early Espresso as my card base instead of white. I think it worked with the horse color.
I inlaid the Rectangle Stitched  frame with the horse image inside a rectangle I die cut out of the green/blue panel.
This was my first one.

I also wanted to add something to the inside of the card so I repeated the outside on the inside.

My original inside:

I then inlaid the image inside another green/blue panel like the outside.

I am happy with both but really love the second one with the darker base and matching inside:)

See this post for the materials.

Stampin’ Up Let It Ride

January 11, 2018

Stamp, color, die cut…done!

I was so pleased how this turned out.
After working with Balmy Blue over the past few weeks, I am so in love with it.
To be honest, I went through a slight mourning period when Soft Sky and Marina Mist left.
But, I must say, Balmy Blue has filled the void! It is so peaceful, it should be called Calmy Blue…

Remember that Stampin’ Blends bleed because they are alcohol based markers.
So, I stamped and colored on a separate piece of Whisper White Cardstock and die cut it with the Rectangle Stitched Thinlits.
I think I may add a Balmy blue Border around the inside on my next card, don’t you think that would be just perfect?

Thanks for stopping by…
