SU Lovely Words Thinlits

I saw this cute idea from Sarah Klass using the friend die cut from Lovely Words
with the pop bottles in the SU Bubble Over stamp set.

The idea stuck in my head and came to life on my desk a week or so ago so we made it at our Kick Off Luncheon last weekend. I used the FREE Sale-a-Bration Designer Series Paper (DSP) behind my die cut and cut the straws from vellum…or invisible paper it seemed as we played with it at our luncheon…lol.

It was easy to create a bright palette for my card since I just pulled the colors from the DSP- Bermuda Bay, Lemon Lime Twist, Daffodil Delight and Calypso Coral. I used some retired Bermuda Bay baker’s twine to add some texture. I used the negative of the larger bottle die on the inside and popped in a cute little label.

The Bubbles and Fizz Designer Series Paper is just perfect with the Bubble Over Bundle. Not only does it have designs with pop bottles/pop caps but also designs with stripes/geometric shapes that can work with any stamp set.

I am sure you have seen the beautiful Delightful Daisy Designer Series Paper all over Pinterest…well, it is just lovely! I used it on this gate fold card with the new Lovely Inside and Out stamp set and Lovely Words Thinlits.

The dies in the set cut out the words like you see on the inside of the card. On the front of the card, I used the largest Stitched Shapes Oval to die cut around the word. You can also snip the sides of the words and have them free standing. I adhered the hugs die cut to a piece of paper from the Wood Textures Designer Series Paper Stack. I also used some new Old Olive Mini Chevron ribbon to close the card. Although Wisteria Wonder and Peekaboo Peach are not listed on the DSP colors- the watercolor palette shows variations of Calypso Coral and Night of Navy that I thought went well with the paper:)

Oh, and the cute little posie on the front is from the new Seasonal Layers Thinlits.
