SU Moving Forward

SU Moving Forward- SU Congrats

I was so excited to use my SU Cloud embossing folder for The Friday MashUp #99 using the  SU colors of Pool Party, So Saffron, and Real Red with a  BABY theme… I was also thinking about the Paper Players # 134 sketch challenge this week and took some artistic license and flipped it on its side and pulled the rectangle all the way across the card. Funny thing is…last week the PP challenge was BABY!! Might confuse the DT over there…

Up, Up, and Away with the Paper Players Challenge #114

I am in love with all the stamps in the SU Moving Forward set! Here’s the third image I have used lately. Everytime I use it, I am reminded of the donation Stampin’ Up makes to the Ronald McDonald charities for every set that is sold. I wanted to play around with the retired SU Kaliedacolor ink pads and chose the Calypso colors. The teal really jumped out at me after I stamped the image so I used Taken with Teal as the background for this card. All the other colors coordinated well with the ink. I got a kick out of the yellow fuzzy thread I laced through the button and the teal bling rhinestones by friend Wendy got me for my birthday:) Hope you like it!

Trying a new challenge site- ColourQ

Some colors naturally complement each other so beautifully and then some colors take work to get them to mesh. It took me so time to warm up to these colors.

But I looked around at His creation and thought….all colors go together – just do something with them already! I used the colors in the ColourQ challenge #154 but subbed Baroque Burgundy for the Bravo Burgundy. In the end, I think the colors worked, what do you think?

Cutting it close to the deadline for The Paper Players Challenge 110…

The Paper Players Challenge ends in 20 minutes but I wanted to try their challenge this week.

I used all SU products that included the Ronald McDonald Charities stamp set Moving Forward. A portion of the purchase price for this set is donated to the charity.
