SU Painted Petals

Happy Mother’s Day to all you wonderful ladies out there! I hope you enjoy the day being a mom, being with your mom, or thinking of the memories you have of your mom.

I am spending Mother’s Day in Miami with all my puppies as we celebrate our oldest son’s graduation with a Master of Laws degree from the University of Miami. I can’t remember the last time I had all three kids together on Mother’s Day!

Here is the Mother’s Day Berry Basket of SU Painted Petals Notecards we made at class for our moms or another special someone.

I cut all my cards to fit into a mailable notecard envelope that fit inside the basket.

I used the SU Flower Frenzy Die to create the leaves and Itty Bitty Accents flowers on the front of the basket after seeing Janas Bastalwelt’s basket made that way.

All the other cards are my original design.

I loved the colors sweet Anne Marie chose for the Paper Players # 235 challenge.

I pulled out my SU Painted Petals stamp set and went to work.

I was happy with the results:)

This set is so pretty and has a “dotty” stamped appearance to it- rustic and old-fashioned. I suggest choosing the photopolymer form of this stamp set since it is a two-step stamping process. Easy peasy when you can see through the stamp!

*SU has found photopolymers to be something stampers are liking so we can expect to see more of the photopolymer choice in future catalogs. Yesterday’s post of the JUST KIDDING stamp set is the last of the “monthly releases” that are good for 6 months from the issue date. SU is gearing up for the new catalog that will be coming out in June:)
