This is a Valentine for all of you!
Sweet class attenders, blog readers, and comment leavers… Know what I love?
YOU!
I love two-step and three-step stamping with monochromatic colors so the SAB set What I Love was one I definitely wanted. However, I just got around to stamping with it- and I kept it quick and simple for sure…but one little thing I saw on the big screen at our last convention meeting caught my eye, and I am sure you will find really neat…
A wrap around banner…
now that was something new for me to try on this notecard (5″ x 3.5″.)
I only stamped twice on this card- the outline image in Bermuda Bay and inside flower with Soft Sky ink. When I added the Pool Party for the third color, I did not like it at all. So, I just tried it again with two colors. I was not even frustrated since it was so easy to stamp! Actually, even when I was off a teensy bit, I liked the white coming through- so much character on this CAS card (heeheehee). Check out how the banner sentiment wraps around from the front of the card to the inside of the card:
There are some more pretty images in the set
that you can get for FREE with a SAB order of $50.
For a little more inspiration, take a look at these samples from Stampin’ Up… I really like the simple tag with the two toned green leaves and the emboss resist on the bottom card, don’t you?
