SU Mixed Bunch Recyled, Renewed, and Reused…

Last week, my MIL and I took my daughter to lunch in her college town and  stopped to visit my MIL’s dear sister who is  in an extended care facility there.  She thought it would be great to bring her sister a cappuccino so we stopped at Dunkin’ Donuts. Of course, I liked the packaging of the coffee even more than the drink itself so I stuffed the coffee sleeves in my purse before we finished our drinks. And onto my craft table they went when I got home.

The Friday Mashup Challenge # 100 allows the participants to choose any of the past challenges to create a project.  I spent some time perusing the challenges and imagine my excitement when I came across #30- a sketch challenge named Renew, Recycle, Reuse!

  1. What a creative use of the sleeve, and it worked beautifully with those colors! Great job on the Mashup challenge you chose!

  2. Yay, that’s my challenge! I’m so glad you picked that one… one of my favorite things is to recycle items for a card. It feels so good. I just love how your sleeve turned out on the card too… I’ll have to remember that trick. Thanks for joining the Friday Mashup’s 100th celebration.

  3. Cindy, this is wonderful! Great recycling :o) Glad you could join us at Dynamic Duos this week!
