SU Blossom Punch

SU Mixed Bunch Recyled, Renewed, and Reused…

Last week, my MIL and I took my daughter to lunch in her college town and  stopped to visit my MIL’s dear sister who is  in an extended care facility there.  She thought it would be great to bring her sister a cappuccino so we stopped at Dunkin’ Donuts. Of course, I liked the packaging of the coffee even more than the drink itself so I stuffed the coffee sleeves in my purse before we finished our drinks. And onto my craft table they went when I got home.

The Friday Mashup Challenge # 100 allows the participants to choose any of the past challenges to create a project.  I spent some time perusing the challenges and imagine my excitement when I came across #30- a sketch challenge named Renew, Recycle, Reuse!

Here is what came from that piece of “garbage” using the colors from Dynamic Duos # 43:

SU Perfectly Penned for Sale-A Bration 2013

I love the Sycamore Street Designer Paper available during Sale-A Bration this year- so very colorful. I especially adore this dotted pattern of Pool Party, Island Indigo, Sahara Sand, and Tangerine Tango. Over at the MUSE Card Club #4 this week, Designer Laurie Willison wowed me with her creation shown below:

There were so many ways I felt inspired by her beautifully designed card but I kept going back to the DSP and how it could be used. I then really pondered what jumped out at me first with Laurie’s card and decided it was the flower and the popped out middle. As I cruised around Card Challenges this week, I came across Fab Friday 11 that I haven’t played in a while so I used its sketch and Laurie’s inspiration to make this….

A Negative makes a positive…

For Pals Paper Arts # 143, I used the negative of the SU Blossom punch to outline a fun SU DSP. When you punch out a flower, you end up with an awesome negative that I hate to waste. So I decided to use it  after seeing it on numerous blogs.
