Silhouette is the cue word for CASology # 61 this week. I immediately knew I wanted to use a favorite stamp set of mine…SU Come to Bethlehem. I think this silhouette is best showcased CAS so I simply sponged a blue oval on my white card base and then stamped the image adorned with a solitary rhinestone.
Card Recipe:
STAMPS: SU Come to Bethlehem
INK: SU Midnight Muse, SU Pastels Chalks
PAPER: SU Whisper White, SU Midnight MUse
ACCESSORIES: SU Rhinestones
TOOLS: SU Ovals Framelit for negative to sponge
this is absolutely gorgeous, cindy!! your stamping is perfection and the addition of the pale blue oval just finishes everything off perfectly!
Thank you, Rosemary. I was having a time with my black ink so I turned to Midnight Muse because it was juicy so the blue oval came out of that…was going to use a gold hue with black. But in the end, I liked the blue;)
This is so editorial and magazine worthy! Love this soooooooo much! (I have this stamp on my sich list now)
Everyone really is Bringing it this week!!!
So glad that you joined us in the fun at CASology!
Thanks, Kimberley. I have always loved this one but it can be hard to stamp being a solid so I don’t use it as often as I want. Now, I just go with what stamps on the page!
Oh this is a beautiful Christmas card…simply beautiful! Love the blue oval you added to the card.
Thank you, Marybeth. I think I may make a few more for my cards this year…an easy one to mass produce as long as it stamps completely…
Cindy, your card is so lovely. I love how the caravan of camels is going towards the blue oval.
Thanks so much, Janelle. The star needed a place to rest and the oval seemed a good space for it;)
Beautiful Cindy! Love your shading. Thank you for joining us this week at CASology!
Thanks, Tracey. I do love pastels for shading more than ink that is harder to control for me. and pastels erase!
