It’s Friday, kiddos! Time for another fun challenge at the Friday Mashup # 166. Holly is asking us to get out some sequins. I was excited to use my new SU sequins in the 2013-15 In Colors. I was surprised how these little embellishments can really pack a big punch.
Card Recipe:
STAMPS: SU Flower Shop, SU Petite Petals, SU Gorgeous Grunge, SU Six-Sided Sampler, SU Language of Friendship for leaves (retired)
INK: SU Coastal Cabana, SU Baked Brown Sugar, SU Pistachio Pudding, SU Strawberry Slush
PAPER: SU Coastal Cabana, SU Baked Brown Sugar, SU Very Vanilla
ACCESSORIES: SU 2013-15 In Color Sequins
TOOLS: SU Petite Petals Punch, SU Pansy Punch, SU Bird Builder Punch
In my opinion, SU Gorgeous Grunge is a great “staple” stamp to have in your pantry!
Enjoy some stamping today!
Love it Cindy!
Thank you so much, Barb. It is always makes me smile when someone likes something I made:))
This is so pretty Cindy. Love the soft colors and the sequins are just the right touch. I have the Gorgeous Grunge set and have only used it a couple of times. This is great inspiration to get it inky again. I hope you have a wonderful weekend.
Thanks, JoAnn. This is the first time I ever used Sequins…I love them!
what a sweet card, – the sequins which i had no intention of purchasing are now on my list…haha…they look great!
Thank you, Anon. I was glad I got them and now I am gong to get some more!
Oh pretty! LOVE the colored rhinestones and the CAS design…beautiful! Thanks for playing along with the SUO Summer Challenge this time!
Thank you, Connie. The embellies are the sequins but the rhinestones colored would be a fab idea, too! Thanks for sharing that idea!
Beautiful card in every way, Cindy. Love the placement and shimmer of your sequins with the Gorgeous Grunge background offering the perfect background.
Thanks so much, Stacey. I love those sequins!
This is such a soft and delicate card Cindy. The different images look so wonderful together, I just cant stop looking at it!
