Oil change- check, trip to the Post Office- check, Chiropractor appt.- check, Bank deposits- check, Favors done for my sweet stampers this week- check…
a Monday Post for you- check!
I played with my SU Sweetbriar Rose stamp with my new Melon Mambo Blendabilities alcohol markers. I just did a little therapeutic coloring and still am amazed how wonderfully the ink melts into the paper. Since I put a little button on it, I thought I would share it with my friends at The Paper Players # 207 this week.
This pretty single stamp fills up a card front and could be used so many ways. I chose to let it stand on its own off a bright white panel but thought the addition of the Hardwood stamped background on Crumb Cake cardstock would complement the image nicely. The left corner seemed a bit bare so I added a subtle yet elegant embellishment I thought the humble flower deserved. Rounding off two opposite corners is an easy way to dress the card up even more.
Hope you enjoyed it today:)

Very pretty Cindy.
Beautiful card, Cindy. I like how you rounded just the two corners to create a softer image.
This is beautiful Cindy. Love your coloring of the pretty flower. It looks great with the woodgrain background.
Oh, this is so beautiful, Cindy! Your coloring is amazing! I love the hardwood background and the black makes your Sweetbriar Rose pop of the card! The vintage button is the perfect finishing touch! XX
Such a perfect placement for that button, Cindy! And the coloring is exquisite! Thanks for playing with the Paper Players!
