SU Remembering Your Birthday with Balloons

I got to play with some bright colors this weekend at ColourMe Playful #39. Make sure to check out what the fantastic Design Team has come up with using the colors Bermuda Bay, Tanerine Tango, Daffodil Delight, and Real Red this round at ColourMe.

SU Rembering Your Birthday Balloons

I just love how easy it is to make adorable little balloons with the SU Small Oval Punch and the little heart from the SU Owl Builder Punch. Just add some string and some white accents with the Signo Gel Pen and you are done. I used the retired Cloudy Day embossing folder that is still on the Clearance Rack to create the background for the CAS birthday card with a simple little sentiment from SU Remembering Your Birthday.

P.S. In real life, the white string is bright white against the white background, it looks a little muddy in the picture like I used dirty paws to handle it too much:( Funny how a photo shows things so differently from our naked eye. Sometimes I do not even notice something on a card until I photograph it, and in this case, it made the string look dull when in reality it doesn’t look different at all from the white it sits against. Things that make you say…hmmmmm.

Have a great start to your week, friends!

9/30/14 Thank you, Hayley, for the pick!

  3. Love your bright and colourful balloon birthday card Cindy – the balloons look great against the embossed clouds. I like how you left the bottom section emboss-free for your sentiment too. This would be a great ‘standby’ card as it has universal appeal. Thanks for joining us over at Colour Me…! this week.
