Happy Friday, friends!
You can tell by Sara’s Friday Mashup 193 that spring is on her mind
during this cold winter season!
But then, we who live in the north are ready for spring once Christmas is over!
This week’s Mashup Challenge is:
Create a project with the “Triple Layer Technique” Tutorial HERE.
Create a project that’s “Floral.”
or Mash it Up! and create a “Floral Triple Layer Project.”
I was playing around with some new stamps from the Occasions catalog and decided a card I made for my Stampin’ Brunch fit in with the FLORAL theme.
I stamped the Indescribable Gift floral image and heat embossed it with Iridescent Ice inspired by a card I saw by Sharon Burkett who used a sentiment from the Butterfly Basics on a white card base background. I liked how the pink card base coordinated with the flowers. I love how the Iridescent Ice takes a CAS card a step up. I actually think I could have flipped the image so the branch was coming down from the top left corner like it is on the stamp case. But, I guess I will next time:)
Card Recipe:
STAMPS: SU Indescribable Gift
INK: SU Memento Black, Pink Pirouette and Pear Pizzazz Blendabilities
PAPER: SU Pink Pirouette, SU Chocolate Chip, SU Whisper White
TOOLS: SU Versamark, SU Iridescent Ice Embossing Powder
We look forward to seeing your floral themed projects with Triple Layer Stamping should you accept the challenge.
Buzz on over to the Friday Mashup to see what the DT has created for you!
This is so pretty, Cindy, and of course I LOVE the shimmer on it. 🙂 I think this is one of my favorite sets from the Occasions catalog. 🙂
